This tasty Lime Chipotle Hummus offers a healthy and extra kick of spice to your usual hummus, made with chickpeas, tahini, chipotle spice, and lime juice.

  • chickpeas,(1 can) drained, rinsed
  • 2tbspolive oil
  • 3clovesgarlic
  • 2tbsptahini
  • 2tspchipotle spice,or more or less to taste, plus more for topping
  • 2tbsplime juice
  • lime,to garnish


  1. In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, olive oil, garlic cloves, tahini, chipotle spice, and lime juice.

  2. Puree until everything is smooth.

  3. Garnish with a lime and sprinkle some chipotle spice on top.
