How To Make Homemade Pumpkin Puree
This pumpkin puree is great as baby food or used in any pumpkin-based stews and desserts. Amp up your pumpkin recipes with this simple homemade version.

Ingredients
- 1sugar pumpkin
- 1tbspolive oil
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Wash pumpkin and cut in half. Remove seeds and pith.

Peel, cut into chunks and toss with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt.

Place on a baking tray, and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until tender when pierced.

Allow to cool. Pumpkin can be served cubed or pureed. Enjoy!
Recipe Notes
You can also boil the pumpkin by placing it in a large pot filled with water. Boil until the pumpkin is soft. Drain very well.
