Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 lb. cheddar cheese
  • 4 jalapenos minced (optional)

Instructions

  • Melt the butter and flour together at medium-low heat until they form a thickened sauce, for approximately 4 minutes.
  • Add the milk, onion powder and cheese. If you want to add jalapenos, add them at this point.
  • Stir constantly until the cheese is melted, for approximately 10 minutes.
  • Serve warm.
