How To Make Homemade Caesar Salad Dressing

Make Caesar salad dressing at home with this easy-to-follow recipe. The balance of savory and tangy flavors is present with garlic, anchovies, and lemon.

  • 2small garlic cloves,minced
  • 1tspanchovy paste
  • 2tbsplemon juice,(from 1 lemon), freshly squeezed
  • 1tspdijon mustard
  • 1tspworcestershire sauce
  • 1cupmayonnaise,best quality
  • ½cupparmigiano-reggiano,freshly grated
  • ¼tspsalt
  • ¼tspfreshly ground black pepper


  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the garlic, anchovy paste, lemon juice, Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce.

  2. Add the mayonnaise, Parmigiano-Reggiano, salt and pepper and whisk until well combined. Taste and adjust.

  3. Serve over salads, and enjoy!
