Preparation: 10 minutes
Cooking: 15 minutes (plus marinating time)
Total: 25 minutes (plus marinating time)

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 1/2 pounds flank steak

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, honey, Dijon mustard, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.

  2. Place the flank steak in a Ziploc bag and pour the marinade over the steak. Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the meat, ensuring it is fully coated. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.

  3. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Remove steak from the marinade and discard excess marinade.

  4. Cook the flank steak for about 5-7 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing.

  5. Slice the steak across the grain into thin strips. Serve and enjoy!
