This tasty avocado salsa is like a fiesta in one bowl! It’s packed with the delightful flavors of corn, avocado, cilantro, and black beans for the best dip.

  • cupscorn kernels,fresh, canned or frozen, thawed
  • cupsblack beans,canned, cooked, drained, rinsed
  • ½small red onion,diced
  • 1cuptomato,diced
  • 1avocado,chopped
  • ¼cupcilantro,chopped
  • 2tbspolive oil
  • 1lime,juiced
  • 1garlic clove,minced
  • 1tspsalt
  • pinchground pepper
  • pinchcayenne pepper
  • 1small jalapeño pepper,seeded, chopped, optional


  1. Add the corn, beans, onion, tomato, avocado, cilantro, olive oil, lime, garlic, salt, ground pepper, cayenne pepper, and jalapeno to a large bowl.

  2. Stir to combine, then taste and add more salt, pepper, or cayenne as needed.

  3. Cover and let sit in the refrigerator for 1 hour or up to 1 day.

  4. Serve with tortilla chips, and enjoy!
