This Eel Sauce Recipe is a sweet and salty Japanese sauce. A great condiment for grilled meat and seafood, and is also drizzled on sushi.
Ingredients
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ½ cup white sugar
- ½ cup mirin (japanese sweet wine)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan add soy sauce, sugar, and mirin and cook over medium heat.
- Stir until liquid is reduced to about ¾ cup.
