Easy Cranberry Sauce Recipe

You need not fuss around on how to make homemade cranberry sauce. Our simple cranberry sauce recipe makes it easy to do in just 15 minutes. For the best taste, use fresh cranberries and plenty of cinnamon.

  • 24 oz. whole cranberries washed and picked over, fresh or frozen
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 whole cinnamon sticks


  1. Mix sugar and water in a saucepan.
  2. Stir to dissolve sugar and add cinnamon sticks.
  3. Bring to boil, add cranberries, return to boil, reduce heat.
  4. Boil gently stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes or until the berries begin to pop.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Cool completely at room temperature and refrigerate.
  7. Makes about 4 ½ cup.
