How To Make Creamy Tomato-Basil Sauce

Ingredients
- 2tbspextra virgin olive oil
- 1garlic clove
- 1cupgrape tomatoes
- ¾cupmascarpone
- salt and freshly ground pepper
- 1tspsherry vinegar
- 2tbspbasil leaves,finely shredded
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a medium skillet. Add the garlic and tomatoes and cook over high heat for about 5 minutes, stirring, until the tomatoes are softened.

Add the mascarpone and cook over moderately high heat, stirring, until piping hot. Season the sauce with salt and ½ teaspoon of pepper, stir in the vinegar and basil.
