How To Make Cranberry Sauce

Thanksgiving will not be complete without cranberries. Read and prepare this delightful cranberry sauce that will make your turkey dish extra special.

Ingredients

  • 12ozcranberries
  • ¾cupbrown sugar
  • ½cuporange juice125 ml
  • 1orange rind

Instructions

  1. Transfer ½ cup of cranberries a small bowl, set aside.

  2. Cook remaining ingredients in a saucepan over low heat, while stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves and the cranberries are soft.

  3. Increase the heat to medium and cook until the cranberries burst.

  4. Reduce heat to low and stir in the reserved cranberries. Add in a couple tablespoons of extra water, if needed.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Serve warm or cool.
