How To Make Cranberry Pomegranate Sauce

This cranberry pomegranate sauce is a combination of sweet and slightly sour flavors. It’s great for glazing over hearty dishes for a richer meal!

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 12ozfresh cranberries,(1 bag)
  • 2cupsPOM pomegranate juice
  • ¾cupsugar,more or less
  • 1pomegranate,seeded, optional

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, combine the cranberries, pomegranate juice, and sugar.

  2. Bring to a boil, and then reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.

  3. Remove from heat, then stir in the pomegranate seeds.

  4. Serve over turkey, and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

  • Sauce will thicken as it cools.
  • Feel free to also add in a cinnamon stick while this cooks to give it an extra kick.
