  • cupwhite oniondiced, or red onion (about half of a medium white onion)
  • cupfresh cilantrochopped , loosely packed
  • 2jalapeño peppersstemmed, cored and finely diced
  • 1limezested and juiced
  • 1tspsea salt
  • ¼tspground cumin(optional)


  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and toss until evenly combined.

  2. Serve immediately, or refrigerate in a sealed container for up to 2 days.
