How To Make Bell Pepper Chutney

For this flavorful bell pepper chutney, chile, garlic, and dal are sautered together then blended into a thick sauce. Ready to serve in under 30 minutes!

  • oil,to taste
  • ¼tspchanna dal
  • 2dried red chilies,chopped
  • 1green chili,chopped
  • 3clovesgarlic
  • 1small onion
  • 1small tomato
  • 2bell peppers
  • salt,to taste


  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add the channa dal, red chili, green chili, and garlic, and sauté.

  2. Add the onion and let cook.

  3. Add the tomato. Once the tomatoes are fully cooked and mushy, add the bell peppers and salt and let cook until the bell peppers turn soft.

  4. Turn off the heat and let cool completely.

  5. Blend until smooth.

  6. Enjoy!
