How To Make Balsamic Vinaigrette

Add a surprising flavor to your salad, veggies, or proteins with this balsamic vinaigrette recipe made with Dijon mustard and flavorful herbs and spices.

  • ½cupextra-virgin olive oil
  • ¼cupbalsamic vinegar
  • 2tspdijon mustard
  • 1garlic clovepressed or minced
  • ½tspkosher salt
  • ¼tspfreshly-cracked black pepper
  • 2tbspsyrupor honey, to taste


  1. Whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, mustard, garlic, salt, and pepper in a small bowl until evenly combined.  

  2. Add your desired amount of maple syrup or honey to sweeten, along with any optional add-ins that you desire.

  3. Serve immediately, or refrigerate in a sealed container for up to 1 week.
