How To Make Arbys Sauce

Be it for fries or for sandwiches, this copycat Arbys sauce lends smoky and tangy flavors using ketchup, vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce.

Ingredients

  • ½cupketchup
  • 1cupwater
  • 2tbspbrown sugar
  • ¼cupwhite vinegar
  • ¾tsponion powder
  • ¾tspgarlic powder
  • ½tsppaprika
  • 3tbspworcestershire sauce,such as Lea and Perrins
  • tspSalt
  • tspcayenne pepper

For Corn Starch Mixture:

  • 1tbspcorn starch
  • 2tbspwater

Instructions

  1. Place all sauce ingredients in a blender and blend at high speed for 15 to 20 seconds. Pour ingredients into a small saucepan, heat on medium-low. Simmer gently for 20 minutes, stirring several times.

  2. After 20 minutes add cornstarch mixture and stir well. When sauce begins to thicken, let simmer on a very low temperature for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool. The mixture will be similar in thickness to steak sauce.

  3. Store in a covered container in the refrigerator.

  4. Serve on hamburgers or pastrami or with hot wings. Enjoy!
