  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 3 cups chopped kale
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the Italian sausage and bacon over medium heat until browned. Remove from pot and set aside.

  2. In the same pot, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.

  3. Add the chicken broth, kale, and potatoes to the pot. Simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.

  4. Stir in the cooked sausage and bacon, then pour in the heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

  5. Simmer for another 5 minutes until heated through.

  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
