  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.

  2. Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper and cook until vegetables are tender.

  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, and tomato sauce.

  4. Add the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  5. Simmer the chili for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
