How To Make Stovetop Tomato Basil Soup

Make a warm bowl of tomato basil soup that’s perfect for rainy days. Just heat together tomato soup, basil, thyme, and sage herbs on the stovetop!

Ingredients

  • 2cansGoya tomato soup
  • fresh basil,to taste
  • fresh thyme,to taste
  • fresh sage,to taste
  • salt and pepper mix,to taste

Instructions

  1. Over medium heat, fill a small pot with 4 cups of water. Add canned tomato soup to the pot and season with around 10 shakes of pepper.

  2. Stir the soup and season with basil, thyme, and sage.

  3. Continue stirring for 5 minutes. Cover and let simmer for 10 minutes.

  4. Stir for 2 minutes more and add more salt, pepper, and herbs to taste.

  5. Allow the soup to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
