  • 5cupspotatoes,peeled and diced
  • 1cuponion,diced
  • ¾cupcelery,diced
  • ¾cupcarrot,diced
  • 2tspsalt,or to taste
  • ½tspground black pepper,or to taste
  • 4cupswater
  • cupsham,diced
  • 10¾ozcondensed cream of celery soup,(2 cans)
  • 1cupheavy cream


  1. Bring the potatoes, onion, celery, carrot, salt, pepper, and water to a boil in a large pot.

  2. Cook for about 15 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

  3. Add the ham, cream of celery soup, and heavy cream; then return to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes.

  4. Adjust the seasoning as needed, serve warm, and enjoy!
