  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups cabbage, chopped
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish


  1. Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and add the ground beef, onion, and garlic. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent.

  2. Add the chopped cabbage, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, cooked rice, oregano, and basil to the Instant Pot. Stir well to combine.

  3. Close the Instant Pot lid and set the valve to the sealing position. Cook on manual high pressure for 8 minutes.

  4. Once the cooking time is up, carefully release the pressure manually.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
