Our chicken noodle soup recipe honors a childhood favorite. Tender chunks of chicken, fresh vegetables, and egg noodles all fill a flavorful broth.

  • 1tbspolive oil
  • 1onion,diced
  • 2largecarrots,diced
  • 2largecelery ribs,sliced
  • 1red pepper,finely diced
  • 1tsppoultry seasoning
  • pepper,to taste
  • 1bay leaf
  • 2cupschicken,chopped and cooked
  • 6cupschicken broth
  • 6ozegg noodles
  • 1cupbroccoli florets
  • 3tbspfresh parsley


  1. Heat olive oil in a pot over medium high heat.

  2. Chop the onion and add to the pot. Continue adding veggies to the pot in order as you chop them except broccoli.

  3. Cook for about 5 minutes, until onion is softened.

  4. Stir in seasoning, broth and chicken. Bring to a boil, add noodles reduce heat to medium-high and cook until noodles are tender. Add in broccoli during the last 2 minutes of cooking.

  5. Stir in parsley and remove bay leaf before serving.
