Ingredients
- 1/2 head of cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 carrots, peeled and sliced
- 2 stalks of celery, sliced
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 4 cups of chicken broth
- 2 cups of diced ham
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste

In a large pot, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the onion, carrots, celery, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are tender.

Add the sliced cabbage to the pot and cook for another 5 minutes, until slightly wilted.

Pour in the chicken broth and add the diced ham and thyme. Bring the soup to a simmer and let it cook for about 45 minutes, until the cabbage is tender.
