  1. Stir the chicken stock, milk, and cornstarch together in a small saucepan until cornstarch is dissolved.

  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly for about 5 minutes until bubbling.

  3. Reduce heat to medium-low. Continue to cook and stir until the mixture is very thick for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
