How To Make Stir-fried Festive Cabbage

Ingredients
- 1 small head of cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 large carrot, julienned
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- Optional: 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions

In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the sliced cabbage, red and green bell peppers, and julienned carrots to the skillet.

Stir-fry the vegetables for about 5-7 minutes until they are slightly tender but still crisp.

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, salt, and black pepper.

Pour the sauce over the stir-fried vegetables and toss to coat evenly.

Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until the cabbage is cooked to your desired level of tenderness.

Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds, if desired.

Serve hot as a side dish.
