  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 cups whole milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Vegetable oil, for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Pour a thin layer of vegetable oil evenly into a large baking dish or roasting pan.

  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, eggs, and salt until the batter is smooth and well combined.

  3. Pour the batter into the greased baking dish and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for 20 minutes without opening the oven door.

  4. After 20 minutes, reduce the oven temperature to 375°F (190°C) and continue baking for another 30-40 minutes, or until the pudding is golden brown and puffed up.

  5. Once cooked, remove the giant Yorkshire pudding from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
