How To Make Spinach-stuffed pizza pies

Who says vegetarians don’t get to enjoy savory meals? A taste of these authentic vegetarian recipes will make you change your mind. So, you just might want to go vegetarian after your first bite.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 package of pizza dough
  • 1 cup of frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup of pizza sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Roll out the pizza dough and cut it into 4 equal-sized circles.

  3. In a bowl, mix together the spinach, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.

  4. Place a spoonful of pizza sauce in the center of each pizza dough circle.

  5. Spoon the spinach mixture onto one half of each circle, leaving a small border around the edges.

  6. Fold the other half of each circle over the spinach filling and press the edges together to seal.

  7. Place the stuffed pizza pies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
