How To Make Roast Tomatoes with Pesto

- 4 large tomatoes, halved
- 4 tablespoons of pesto sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for drizzling
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Place the halved tomatoes, cut side up, on a baking sheet.

Season the tomatoes with salt and pepper.

Drizzle olive oil over the tomatoes.

Roast in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the tomatoes are soft and slightly browned.

Remove the tomatoes from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.

Once cooled, transfer the roasted tomatoes to a serving platter.
