How To Make Katsu Curry Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 potatoes, diced
- 2 tablespoons curry powder
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Heat vegetable oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add onion, garlic, carrots, and potatoes. Cook until vegetables are tender.

Stir in curry powder and flour, cook for 1 minute.

Gradually pour in the broth, soy sauce, honey, and garam masala.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Using an immersion blender or regular blender, blend the sauce until smooth.
