Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 potatoes, diced
  • 2 tablespoons curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Add onion, garlic, carrots, and potatoes. Cook until vegetables are tender.

  3. Stir in curry powder and flour, cook for 1 minute.

  4. Gradually pour in the broth, soy sauce, honey, and garam masala.

  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Using an immersion blender or regular blender, blend the sauce until smooth.

  8. Serve with crispy breaded meat or vegetables.
