How To Make Carrot Hummus with Pitta Dippers

Ingredients
- 3 medium carrots, peeled and chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 pitta breads, cut into wedges
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Place the carrots in a pot of boiling water and cook until tender, about 10-15 minutes. Drain and let them cool slightly.

In a food processor, combine the cooked carrots, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Process until smooth.

While the food processor is still running, drizzle in the olive oil until well combined.

Transfer the carrot hummus to a serving dish and garnish as desired.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

Place the pitta bread wedges on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until crispy.

Serve the carrot hummus with the pitta dippers.
