How To Make Apricot & Ricotta Torte

Ingredients
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup apricot preserves
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.

In a large bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, flour, sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

Pour half of the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it evenly.

Dollop spoonfuls of apricot preserves over the batter. Use a knife to swirl the preserves into the batter.

Pour the remaining batter over the apricot preserves and spread it evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
