How To Make Apple Crisp

  • 4 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup of rolled oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup of cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a bowl, mix the sliced apples and brown sugar together until well coated.

  3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, oats, cinnamon, and cold butter. Use your fingers or a pastry cutter to mix the ingredients together until crumbly.

  4. Spread the apple mixture evenly in a baking dish and sprinkle the crumble topping over the apples.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.

  6. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
