How To Make Air Fryer Bacon-Wrapped Figs
Spruce up your holiday table with these bacon-wrapped figs, a sweet and savory appetizer that you can make with just two basic ingredients.
- 12dried figs,(Turkish or mission)
- 6stripsbacon,(regular center-cut, not thick cut)
- honey,for serving
- nonstick spray,for air fryer
For Optional Stuffing:
- goat cheese,or blue cheese
- roasted almonds,salted
Add the dried figs to a bowl filled with steaming hot water. Let them sit for 20 minutes to reconstitute.
Drain the figs and cut off the stems. Cut a small slit in each fig and spoon in a little blue cheese or goat cheese, or half an almond, if desired.
Cut the strips of bacon in half and trim them down to about ½ to ¾ inches wide. Wrap one bacon strip around each fig. Secure with a toothpick.
Spray the basket of an air fryer with nonstick spray. Add bacon-wrapped figs in a single layer so they aren’t touching.
Air fry the figs at 350 degrees F for 8 to 9 minutes, flipping once halfway through.
Once the figs have cooled slightly, serve them drizzled with honey.
