  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/4 cup of unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat tamarind paste, brown sugar, water, and salt over medium heat.

  2. Stir until sugar dissolves and mixture starts to thicken, around 5-7 minutes.

  3. Add in the butter and stir until melted, around 2-3 minutes.

  4. Let the sauce cool to room temperature and transfer to a glass jar.

  5. Serve as a dip or drizzle over desserts.
