How To Make Apple & Grape Chutney

Ingredients

  • 2 medium-sized apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 1 cup seedless grapes, halved
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the apples, grapes, onion, garlic, and ginger.

  2. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Add the vinegar, brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves, salt, and black pepper.

  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes, or until the chutney thickens.

  5. Remove from heat and let it cool before transferring to a jar.

  6. Store in the refrigerator for up to one month.
