- 1tbspolive oil
- 4carrots
- 1medium onion
- 1clovegarlic
- coarse salt and ground pepper
- 3tbsptomato paste
- ¾lbground turkey,(93% lean, dark meat)
- 1cantomatoes,crushed
- 2tbspdark brown sugar
- 1tbspcider vinegar
- 1tspworcestershire sauce
- 4whole wheat hamburger rolls
Instructions

In a large saucepan, heat oil over medium; add carrots, onion, and garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until softened.

Add tomato paste and cook, stirring. Add turkey; cook, breaking up meat with a spoon, until no longer pink, 4 to 5 minutes.

Add tomatoes, sugar, vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened. Serve on whole-wheat rolls.
