Beef Brisket Bar-B-Q Sandwich Recipe

I have had this recipe for about 10 years. I have not shared it with anyone, not even family. But it’s very very good. The moment you smell it cooking, you gotta have it. It’s our summer favorite and it goes a long way!

How To Make Beef Brisket Bar-B-Q Sandwich

Smokey and deliciously tender Bar-B-Q brisket sandwich roasted, baked, and sealed in a bun!

  • ½ beef brisket (not corned; or pork, flat)
  • 12 oz Coke (if using pork, use ginger ale)
  • barbeque sauce
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic salt
  • liquid smoke (about 2 drops per side)
  1. Place brisket in a large container or Ziploc bag with Coke.

  2. Marinate for 12 hours or overnight. Then, discard the coke juices.

  3. Rub in on both sides of brisket: salt, pepper, garlic salt and liquid smoke.

  4. Place in a large roasting bag or pan with tight lid.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for about 3 hours.

  6. Baste every hour if you used roasting pan.
  7. When it falls apart, it is done.
  8. When serving, mix sauce in beef just until moist nad juicy.
  9. Serve on seeded bun with pickle and chips or fries.
