Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 8 slices of cheese (your choice)
  • 8 slices of deli meat (your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons of butter, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat a panini press or a grill pan.

  2. Butter one side of each bread slice.

  3. Layer a slice of cheese and a slice of deli meat on top of the unbuttered side of 4 bread slices.

  4. Place the remaining bread slices, buttered side up, on top of the cheese and deli meat.

  5. Place the sandwiches in the panini press or grill pan and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the bread is crispy and the cheese is melted.

  6. Remove the sandwiches from the press or pan and let them cool for a minute before serving.

  7. Cut the sandwiches in half and serve hot.
