Ingredients

  • 8 slices of Hawaiian bread
  • 8 slices of ham
  • 4 pineapple rings
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 4 tbsp of butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp of Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp of brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Lay out 4 slices of the Hawaiian bread on a baking sheet.

  3. Top each slice with a slice of ham, a pineapple ring, and a slice of Swiss cheese.

  4. Spread a tablespoon of melted butter on the remaining 4 slices of bread and place them on top of the sandwiches, butter side up.

  5. In a small bowl, mix together the Dijon mustard and brown sugar. Brush this mixture over the top of each sandwich.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sandwiches are golden brown.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
