How To Make Tex-Mex Sloppy Joes
Have a perfectly spiced dish with this Tex-Mex sloppy joes. They come with browned beef and peppers in spiced tomato sauce, finished with cheddar.

Ingredients
- 1½lbsground beef
- 2tbspcanola oil
- 1yellow onion,diced
- ½red bell pepper,diced
- ½green bell pepper,diced
- 1cupcorn
- 1cupblack beans
- 2tspcumin
- 2cupsbeef broth
- 1cuptomato sauce
- 1cupsalsa
- 3tbsptaco seasoning
- ¼cupketchup
- 1cupcheddar cheese,shredded
- 6brioche buns,toasted
Instructions

In a large skillet, add the beef and onions, cooking well for 5 to 6 minutes, breaking it apart but leaving some chunks, then remove from the pan.

Add in the canola oil, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, corn, and black beans and cook for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring often until the bell peppers are softened.

Add in the cumin, beef broth, tomato sauce, salsa, taco seasoning, and ketchup. Cook for about 5 to 6 minutes until the sauce starts to evaporate and the mixture becomes “sloppy.”

Spoon over the mixture and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
