
How To Make Sloppy Joe Sandwiches
These sloppy joe sandwiches combine ground beef and minced onion with a bunch of spices for a meaty filling that’s sandwiched in soft hamburger buns.

- ½lbground beef
- ½onion,chopped
- ½cupketchup
- 2tbspwater
- 1tbspbrown sugar
- 1tspWorcestershire sauce
- 1tspmustard,prepared
- 1tspwhite vinegar
- 1tspchili powder
- ÂĽtspgarlic powder
- ÂĽtsponion powder
- ÂĽtspsalt
- 2hamburger buns,split
Instructions

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and stir in ground beef and onion. Cook and stir for about 10 minutes until the beef is crumbly, evenly browned, and no longer pink. Drain and discard any excess grease.

Stir in the ketchup, water, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, vinegar, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.

Bring the beef mixture to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to low, then cover and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes until the sauce has thickened.
