How To Make Lobster Roll

Savor a flavorful seafood meal with this delicious lobster roll! Golden buttered buns are packed with lobster meat in a mix of mayo, lemon juice and celery.

Preparation: 15 minutes
Cooking: 5 minutes
Total: 20 minutes



  • lbslobster meat,(approximately 3½ cups), cut into ¾-inch pieces, cooked
  • ¼cupmayonnaise
  • tbsplemon juice
  • ¼cupcelery,finely chopped, use tender inner stalks
  • 1tbspchives,thinly sliced, plus more for garnish
  • salt and pepper,to taste
  • 4hot dog buns,split top
  • 2tbspbutter,softened


  1. Place the lobster meat, mayonnaise, lemon juice, celery, chives, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Stir gently to combine.

  2. Spread the butter onto the outer sides of each bun. Place the buns in a pan or on a griddle over medium heat.

  3. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side or until golden brown.

  4. Divide the lobster mixture among the buns.

  5. Serve garnished with additional chives, and enjoy!
