How To Make Herbed Cream Cheese Deli Sandwiches

  • 1 lb honeysuckle white turkey breast
  • 8 oz nuefchatel cheese
  • ¼ cup onion, minced
  • 3 tbsp chives, chopped
  • tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp fat free mayonaise
  • 1 loaf pumpernickel cocktail bread, party loaf 12 oz. roasted peppers, drained (1 jar)
  • small green olives , optional, to taste


  1. Blend the first 5 ingredients together.
  2. Spread 2 slices of the cocktail bread with a thin layer of the cheese mixture.
  3. Cut the roasted peppers into 1-1/2 inch squares and place one between the bread slices along with a slice of turkey.
  4. Cut diagonally and stack the two halves.
  5. Top with an olive if desired, and secure with a decorative toothpick.
  6. Repeat the process.
