Egg Burger Recipe

 

Take out the meat and swap out something lighter with this egg burger recipe. This recipe is completely customizable according to your tastes!

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • pinch salt
  • pinch pepper
  • 1 slice cheese, processed
  • 1 hamburger bun, cut in half, warmed or toasted

For Optional Garnishes:

  • ketchup
  • relish
  • lettuce
  • tomato, sliced
  • sweet pepper, sliced
  • fried mushrooms or crispy bacon

Instructions

  1. Spray skillet with cooking spray. Heat skillet over medium heat. Break egg into skillet. Break yolk with edge of spatula. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. When egg is almost set, turn over and top with cheese; cook briefly just to melt cheese.
  3. Place egg on bottom half of warmed or toasted hamburger bun. Garnish as desired. Cover with remaining half of bun.
