Ingredients
- 8 slices of white bread
- 4 slices of ham
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 4 eggs
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Dijon mustard for spreading
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Lay out 4 slices of bread and spread Dijon mustard on each slice.

Top each slice with a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese.

Place the remaining 4 slices of bread on top to make sandwiches.

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

Carefully transfer the sandwiches to the skillet and cook until both sides are golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Transfer the sandwiches to a baking sheet and place in the preheated oven for 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
