How To Make Grilled Honey Balsamic Chicken

This balsamic chicken is sweetened with honey, seasoned with spices, and then grilled to sweet-savory perfection in just 10 minutes.

  • 4chicken breasts,boneless skinless
  • 1tspolive oil
  • ½tspkosher salt
  • ¼tspground black pepper
  • ½tsppaprika
  • ¾tsponion powder

For Honey Balsamic Sauce:

  • 2tbsphoney
  • 2tbspbalsamic vinegar
  • 2tbspketchup
  • 2tspgarlic,minced


  1. In a ziplock bag, add chicken, olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder. Make sure the chicken is completely coated in the seasonings.

  2. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together honey, balsamic vinegar, ketchup, and garlic. Pour half of the sauce into the bag and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. Grill the chicken on each side about 3 to 4 minutes or until no longer pink.

  4. Place reserved sauce in a small saucepan and allow to deglaze for 2 to 3 minutes over medium high heat. Brush sauce on top of chicken.
