In this 1-hour grilled balsamic chicken recipe, a sharp, tangy flavor encloses the chicken breast and a hint of the sweet aftertaste is present.

Ingredients

  • 1cupbalsamic vinegar
  • ½cupolive oil
  • ½cuphoney
  • 2tbspdijon mustard
  • 4clovesgarlic,minced
  • 2tspbasil,dried
  • 2tspsalt
  • 2tspground black pepper
  • 4chicken breasts,boneless skinless

Instructions

  1. Whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, Dijon mustard, garlic, basil, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.

  2. Combine chicken and ½ of the marinade in a resealable plastic bag. Marinate chicken for 1 hour to overnight. Reserve the other ½ of the marinade until grilling.

  3. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat, to approximately 400 degrees F. Lightly oil the grate.

  4. Remove chicken from marinade and discard used marinade.

  5. Place chicken on the hot grill and baste with reserved marinade. Lower grill to medium and cook until chicken is no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, 6 to 8 minutes per side.
