How To Make Grilled Asian Garlic Steak Skewers

Have your fill of these savory grilled garlic steak skewers that are made flavorful with the Asian-style marinade made of garlic-sesame-ginger-soy-sauce.

Ingredients

  • lbstop sirloin steak
  • 1red onion
  • cupsoy sauce
  • 6clovesgarlic,minced
  • ¼cupsesame oil
  • ½cupvegetable oil
  • ½cupsugar
  • 1tbspginger,grated
  • 2tbspsesame seeds
  • green onions,sliced, to garnish

Instructions

  1. Cut the steak into 1-inch cubes.

  2. Cut the red onion into large chunks and set aside.

  3. In a large bowl whisk together the soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, vegetable oil, sugar, ginger, and sesame seeds.

  4. Add the steak and toss to coat in the marinade.

  5. Marinate for 3 hours or overnight.

  6. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  7. Thread the meat and the red onion onto the skewers.

  8. Grill for 8 to 10 minutes until the meat is done to the desired liking.
