How To Make Cast Iron Chicken Fajitas

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breasts, sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, seeded and sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fajita seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. Preheat your cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Add olive oil and heat until hot.

  3. Add chicken slices and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

  5. In the same skillet, add the bell peppers, onion, and garlic.

  6. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.

  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and sprinkle fajita seasoning over the mixture.

  8. Stir well to coat everything evenly.

  9. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.

  10. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  11. Warm the flour tortillas in the oven or on the stovetop.

  12. Serve the chicken and vegetable mixture in the warm tortillas.
