How To Make Asian Grilled Chicken

The rich flavors of this grilled chicken come from the combination of garlic, red pepper flakes, and soy sauce, giving this dish an Asian flair.

  • cupsSwanson® Chicken Stock
  • 2tbspsoy sauce
  • 1tbspvinegar
  • 1tspsugar
  • 1tspgarlic powder
  • 1tspred pepper,crushed
  • 4chicken breast halves,skinless, boneless


  1. Stir the stock, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, garlic powder and red pepper in a shallow nonmetallic dish or a gallon-size resealable plastic bag.

  2. Add the chicken and turn to coat. Cover the dish or close the bag and refrigerate for 1 hour. Remove the chicken from the marinade.

  3. Lightly oil the grill rack and heat the grill to medium. Grill the chicken for 15 minutes or until it’s cooked though, turning and brushing often with the marinade.

  4. Heat the remaining marinade in a 1-quart saucepan over medium-high heat to a boil.

  5. Serve the sauce with the chicken. Enjoy!
