How To Make Sugared Cranberries

Dessert couldn’t get any sweeter and easier with these sugared cranberries. Enjoy them as a snack or top them on other sweet treats!

Ingredients

  • 12ozcranberries
  • ¾cupsugar
  • ¾cupwater
  • sugar,coarse or fine, for rolling

Instructions

  1. Bring the water and sugar to a boil, then let boil for 3 minutes.

  2. Remove from heat, then add the cranberries in.

  3. Using a slotted spoon, remove the cranberries and place them on a rack. Allow to drip dry for about 20 to 30 minutes. They should be tacky to the touch.

  4. Place the cranberries, a few at a time, back into the warm sugar mixture in the pot.

  5. Roll each cranberry in the extra sugar, then place them on parchment paper.

  6. Let dry for 1 hour.

  7. Serve over ice cream, cakes, and other treats, and enjoy!
